Description, duties, responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing strategy. They will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. The Marketing Manager will work for the VP of Growth and Strategy other high level management members as well as various third party marketing agencies. They will also mentor and manage two Marketing associates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
+ Drive strategic and daily execution of company’s brand and internal and external communications strategy.
+ Develop and execute marketing strategies to communicate with customers and prospects of products and services offered through and enhanced social media presence and direct marketing initiatives.
+ Set the strategy and objectives on all trade shows advertising and promotional activities.
+ Develop and keep up relevant customer focused marketing materials (digital assets print events media relations online video other).
+ Collaborate with the business development and sales teams on program development and implementation.
+ Work with the executive team on the strategy and execution of internal communications to employees that align with company’s core values.
+ Provides creative direction to advertising agency. Mark-up how our materials should look and identify needed content.
+ Manage the relationship with Columbia’s external ad agency and graphic designers.
+ Interview internal and external customers in order to create articles and announcements.
+ Drives performance and supports professional development of individual team members.
+ Conduct oneself in accordance with Company’s Core Values
+ Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferably with an MBA.
+ 7+ years’ experience in marketing preferably within the industry.
+ Ability to multi-task.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to present ideas concepts and proposals with a wide range of audiences at all levels both internal and external to the company
+ Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
+ Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
+ Supervisor or management experience preferred with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to train and coach employees
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
