The Boeing Integrated Technology Development Laboratories is looking for an Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer in Tukwila, WA.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Level Engineers.

Overview

The successful candidate will support the engineering team in the design and development of simulation systems. They will research, develop, and integrate equipment on both mobile and stationary platforms. The candidate will play a role in creating a team environment and providing leadership driving projects to completion. The successful candidate for this position will be able to take a project from the conceptual stage through to completion, taking into account budgeting and operational considerations.

They may be involved with any of the following activities: Electronic Design, Packaging, System Wiring, Schematics, Hardware Integration, Design Documentation, and trouble shooting. Skills will be applied to support other organizations as needed.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Technical drawing generation, schematics, equipment racks

  • Prepare and present project status reports

  • Test design, development, and reporting

  • Support/resolve customer problems using electrical, analytical and project management skills

  • Preform product demonstrations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start isrequired.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Sensor/system Integration

  • Wiring diagrams and/or functional schematics

  • Electronic/Electrical Systems Troubleshooting

  • Engineering knowledge of the software architectures and hardware configurations

  • Team Leadership Experience (FIRST Robotics, Collegiate Engineering Clubs, Mentoring)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Bachelors degree and typically 2 or more years experience in an engineering classification or a Masters degree with experience in an engineering classification.

Experienced (Level 3)

Bachelors degree and typically 5 or more years experience in an engineering classification or a Masters degree with typically 3 or more years experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
