We are seeking a Supply Chain Analysist who will perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. The individual will also communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

This position is based in Nagoya, Japan and will be hired on a 1 year fixed term contract with possibility to convert to an open ended contract, subject to business conditions and individual performance.

Position Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.

  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.

  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.

  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

  • Supports supply chain operations daily, weekly and monthly through production performance meeting and travel if necessarily.

  • Travel may be required up to 25% of the time to support delivery of parts to Boeing programs across the enterprise.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Have a combination of proven experience in relevant business area, such as manufacturing, supply chain management and work in aerospace industry.

  • Strong project planning, management and execution skills.

  • Proven ability to collaborate productively in multi-discipline teaming environments.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degree is preferred

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese highly preferred

  • Flexibility to learn and work across a variety of aerospace manufacturing technologies and applications

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
Domestic relocation assistance is eligible for the successful candidate.
