Description, duties, responsibilities
Main accountabilities include:
+ Responsible for supervising coordinating and allocating staff and resources to fulfill service standards for our customers.
+ Ensures that subordinates comply with working hours scheduled and duties as per published daily plan.
+ Ensure that grooming standards are delivered safely on time and consistently in line with service level standards set for both time and station performance.
+ Promptly handle all customer service complaints with a focus on positive resolution.
+ Responsible for staff scheduling leadership development and employee accountability.
+ Ensure that the kitchen galley and crew areas in the airplane are clean tidy and safe.
+ At regular intervals ensure detail aircraft by polishing protecting ad cleaning.
+ Ensure equipment is cleaned maintained and stored correctly.
+ Ensure the professional cleaning of the office areas as required.
+ Work with the maintenance team to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.
+ Report all equipment malfunctions and health and safety matters to the duty manager.
+ Ensure that all staff are in compliance with the daily routines procedures policies and appearance and our customers SLA and expectations.
+ Ensure that regular operational briefings are performed with the staff within the grooming department.
+ Maintain high standards of safety and security at all times.
+ Participate in all internal meetings and Airlines meetings when required.
+ Ensures tasks are performed in accordance with the Company and Airlines specific procedures and policies.
+ Required to attend the mandatory training imposed by the Company and Airlines as per job role.
+ Assist maintenance team with other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
+ Must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to work in Canada
+ Must have High School Level Diploma or equivalent.
+ Must be able to speak read and write English proficiently.
+ Previous experience working in a similar role and in an aviation environment is desired.
+ Ensure that all changes with in Menzies Aviation that have an impact on grooming services staff are communicated promptly.
+ Detailed knowledge of IATA Dangerous Goods procedures
+ Comply with MA uniform and appearance policy.
+ Good verbal organizational and multi-tasking skills.
+ Must have a valid G or G2 Provincial Drivers license with good driving record.
+ Must be physically fit and capable to lift up to 50 pounds
+ No fear of heights
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
+ Flexible to work various shifts (days evening night weekends and holidays)
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card and all required security clearances.
+ Must be reliable our customers and your fellow employees rely on you.
