IAC (International Aerospace Coatings, Inc.) is the world’s largest aircraft painting company. We work with international airlines, leasing companies, and OEMs around the globe. IAC provides tailor made aircraft painting, graphic and interior solutions that ensure regulatory compliance globally. We currently have 13 locations worldwide and paint over 1000 aircraft per year. Our European headquarters are based in Shannon, Ireland with our US headquarters based in Irvine, California.

Summary: Reporting into the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative is the face of IAC to our customers. As such, they need to have an analytical mind, be detail oriented, plus be great on the phone and in-person with customers. He/she will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and superb interpersonal skills.

Sales:

  • Meet quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Grow existing account business
  • Acquire new accounts within assigned territory
  • Initiates and coordinates writing of detailed Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Respond to RFQs and RFIs
  • Logging leads and sales inquiries into Salesforce
  • Upkeep of customer database and contracts
  • Research of new lines of business, new market segments, new regions, etc.
  • Responsible for sales / program management from lead creation to final billing

Events:

  • Attend industry trade shows and events in North and South America
  • Examples: MRO, NBAA, RAA, ACPC, CCMA
  • Plan and attend in-person meetings with current and prospective customers

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Management, Business or relevant field
  • 2-8 years of Sales & Marketing experience, strongly preferred in the aerospace industry
  • Preference for background in aviation / aerospace / defense industry
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience strongly preferred
  • Microsoft Project (strongly preferred, not mandatory)
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customers’ needs
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Must possess strong computer skills (MS Office)
  • Ability to travel 50%
  • Second language a plus
