Job Summary:

Manage and Bring the appropriate support to all Human Resources functions within ZIUS facility including Recruiting Employee and Staff Development and Training Employee Communications and Health and Safety. Ensure that all programs are in compliance with Federal State and Local laws and regulations and in accordance with Zodiac Aerospace Standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
1.Employee Relations:
+ Develop and maintain effective employee relations
+ Act as a point of contact for inquiries about employee issues and HR policies/procedures
+ Facilitate employee and manager discussions/ issues to drive to quick resolution
+ Participate in Mediation and/or investigations
+ Support local management in terms of employee development performance management and employee issues
+ Manage the disciplinary process and ensure employees are treated fairly and equally and in compliance with Federal State and Local Law
2. HR policies and procedures:
+ Implement develop and maintain all HR policies and procedures in compliance with Federal State and local laws.
+ Ensure legal compliance by constantly monitoring and implementing applicable HR and employment laws/updates Manage compensation and benefits maintain the employee handbook and ensure hiring and recruiting processes are compliant
3. Recruiting:
+ Manage ZIUS Recruiting process
+ Recruit salary exempt positions
+ Draft job postings
+ Postinternally and externally with the appropriate tools
+ Source potential candidates (job boards job fair…)
+ Coordinate and conduct applicable interviewsCoordinate background checks
+ Draft and extend offer letters
4. Training:
+ Support the Performance Annual Review process
+ Build and maintain an employee development and training plan in a timely manner and in cooperation with Management
+ Based on the annual strategic axis set up by the CEO as well as the annual performance reviews make the inventory of the training needs by department
+ Conduct interviews with the Managers Directors and VP’s to set up training priority’s
+ Prepare the costs and duration of required trainings
+ Present the training plan for approval by the CEO/HR Director
+ Develop the ETP program to support funds required for trainings
5. Manage Health and Safety Operations
+ Make sure that the ZIUS facility is in compliance with all the federal state and local regulations
+ In support of the Operations Department ensure the Company is a safe place to work
+ Manage all reporting process for health and safety metrics including state and federal reporting for workplace injuries and Workers’ Compensation.
+ Support work station assessments and any follow up action required
Qualifications/Requirements

Education level
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR
Language skills
English
Spanish is an asset
Mathematical skills
Strong understanding of basic math
Experience – Technical Skills
+ Minimum of seven years experience in a Human Resources role with exposure to all facets of HR including benefits compensation employee development health and safety training recruitment and communication
+ Ability to build collaborative relationships
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong experience in recruitment
+ Strong experiences in HR processes and policies
+ Strong knowledge of Federal State and Local employment laws and regulations
+ Must possess a thorough understanding of the confidentiality associated with the position
+ Strong Technical skills in MS Office (especially excel) and HRIS
Interpersonal skills
+ Versatility: proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
