Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) - Our Company commenced operations in 1969 and the first aviation maintenance campus opened in 1992 in Norfolk, VA. All AIM schools are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration. Over the past 25 years, this group of schools has expanded to eleven campuses throughout the country in locations such as: Las Vegas, Nevada; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Kansas City, Missouri; Houston, Texas; Indianapolis, Indiana; the metro areas of San Francisco, California; Orlando, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Dallas, Texas; Washington, DC; and Virginia Beach, Virginia, where our corporate offices are also located.
At AIM we are always looking for qualified and experienced individuals that can pass along their skills at our campuses to future Aviation Maintenance Technicians to prepare them for a career in the aviation industry. We currently have an opening for a Sales and Admissions Representative at our Mannassas, VA campus with a great starting salary paid vacations, holidays, health insurance, retirements and added benefits.
This position is a perfect opportunity for an outgoing individual with prior creative sales experience to explain the benefits of a career in the field of aviation and the value of an FAA license for the repair and maintenance of aircraft. The ideal individual would be someone with a strong sales background to fill our classrooms with the next generation of a qualified workforce. We are looking for positive, energetic and outgoing individuals with a "Can Do" attitude.
New students start every five weeks and can graduate with their A&P license after 21 months of education. Classes are offered 6 hours per day, four days per week, for a total of 24 hours of classroom instruction. Classes are available during the day, in the evenings, or sometimes during the weekends. Training is provided 40% in the classroom and 60% in the lab and hangar settings with actual engines and aircraft. Some campuses offer added instruction such as helicopter maintenance, aviation welding, and additional related programs of study.
