The Network Quality Control Manager reports to the Vice President MRO and is responsible for network quality and safety management, coordination, and administration of inspections, and technical data, to ensure the highest level of operational integrity, compliance with all regulatory requirements, and a safe and efficient working environment .
Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
Coordinates with the Director HSE and serves as a network safety liaison to ensure all sites develop and promote a safe working environment while adhering to BBA policies and procedures.
Conducts network site safety audits to ensure compliance with BBA safety policies and procedures.
Provides leadership, commitment and promotion of safety as a core value of the maintenance organization.
Ensures that primary responsibilities are carried out and all specified policies, practices, and procedures are complied with.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure continuous regulatory compliance, airworthiness and flight safety.
Verify on a continuing basis that all location maintenance manuals, documents, and specifications are accurate for technical content, proper approval authority, currency and adherence to regulatory standards.
Administration and responsibility for Airworthiness Directives (AD) and related controls.
Administer and control of FAA requirements and specifications.
Approval authority for Essential and Non-Essential Maintenance Providers with associated quality assurance audits and programs.
Serve as the networks Airworthiness FAA liaison as it relates to Maintenance.
Ensure that all specified policies, practices and procedures are complied with, and follow Company policies and procedures for completion of assigned duties.
Oversees Aircraft Records.
Assists in submitting Voluntary Self Disclosures and responses to FAA Compliance Action letters.
Strong working knowledge of the US Code of Federal Regulations related to the areas affecting Airworthiness.
Monitors industry advances and trends to assure early incorporation of product improvements, practices, and standardization in regards to maintenance and operations.
Provides remote support to network Chief Inspectors for support and guidance.
Conducts routine site audits to ensure our network is operating in accordance with FAA, fleet operator, and other governing authority guidelines.
Determines that results achieved in the overhaul and repair of aircraft and components meets requirements, manufacturers maintenance manuals, applicable CFRs, and manufacturing and/or engineering specifications.
Accomplishes periodic paperwork audits to ensure aircraft maintenance checks are accomplished satisfactorily.
Monitors work in progress at scheduled maintenance checks to insure that accomplishment meets or exceeds quality standards and recommend incorporation of any needed improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or an Aviation Maintenance or Engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
FAA Airframe and PowerPlant license (required).
FAA IA license preferred
Two to four years of experience as a Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance Manager.
Three to five years of aircraft maintenance management experience a plus.
Previous general aviation experience preferred.
Must have proven mechanical and technical aptitude.
Must have proven experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to give technical advice, work with personnel from other departments, and advise supervision on matters affecting the assigned work.
Must possess a valid state drivers license.
Must have basic computer skills.
