What happens when I apply online for a job thats posted on Avjobs.com?
Employers receive your resume and cover letter via email and also within their applicant tracking folders on Avjobs. You receive a confirmation page that your resume and cover letter was sent successfully. You may or may not also receive an email from the Employer confirming the receipt of your resume. Please note that some Employers and Recruiters may not respond immediately to your resume submission, and some may not respond at all. After you apply for a job, your complete application is then listed in your Job Cart under the Jobs I have Applied for section and can be tracked from there. Note Some employers use the Apply button to take you directly to their company website. For those job applications, and for applications that you send directly to the company via email, fax, or postal mail, a record of the application will not show up on your Jobs I have Applied for page unless you print the required documents from the job posting using the Avjobs automated document preparation system.
