Lead and perform structural and systems engineering work associated with aircraft modifications. Ground and flight test leading to FAA Supplemental Type Certificates STC . Coordination with FAA certification authorities for STCs. Responsible for producing and maintaining engineering data and or drawings including design layouts three-dimensional models and detailed structural and system analyses. Support the development of technical documentation including project plans system requirements definition ground and flight test plans and results and related technical reports. Preferred Education Experience Bachelors in Aeronautical Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; Advanced degree preferred with experience in aircraft structures 10+ years in Aero Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Previous experience in management position; Demonstrated success in leading working within a multi-disciplined team Aviation-related experience preferred FAA Designated Engineering Representative DER in Structures and or Systems; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to above Preferred Knowledge Ability Experience with aircraft structures engineering methods Project management Proposal development and presentation Must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
