Chickasaw Nation Industries CNI is looking for a Journeyman Aircraft Electrician II part time to support the Rapid Development Integration Facility RDIF at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton OH. This facility provdes military aircraft maintenance modification and upgrade services. Though the work may vary the primary focus is on USAF fixed wing military airframes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily functions including commitment to integrity knowledge quality of work supporting financial goals of the company initiative motivation cooperation relationships problem analysis discretion accomplishing goals through organization positive oral written communication skills leadership abilities commitment to Affirmative Action reliability dependability flexibility and ownership accountability of actions taken. Performs a variety of aircraft electrical trade functions such as the installation maintenance or repair of equipment for the generation distribution or utilization of electric energy on an aircraft. Works from blueprints drawings layouts or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment. Works standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment. Uses a variety of electricians hand tools and measuring testing instruments. Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output. Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers. Will report any unsafe conditions and or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability. EDUCATION EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree GED and minimum of two 2 years related experience working on aircraft electrical systems. Must have completed a formal Apprenticeship Program. CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATION Though it is not required candidates with an Airframe and Powerplant license or their FCC Repairmans Certificate will recieve preferred consideration. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
