The Propulsion Test Engineer will be part of the rocket engine development team and will collaborate on propulsion systems ranging in size from reaction control thrusters to upper stage engines. Primary Responsibilities Assist in developing propulsion system components prototype development through spaceflight hardware delivery Participate in the design analysis and testing of rocket engine components and systems focus on testing Procure test hardware and flight articles according to AS9100 quality standards Achieve engineering results with a focus on propulsion system performance reliability and safety Interface with test technicians design engineers program managers and quality management system personnel Job Qualifications Experience with testing of rocket engines or similar experimental aerospace technologies Working knowledge of data acquisitions systems control systems and instrumentation hardware Experience with federally-regulated or quality-stringent design projects Experience with interpreting test data and making design decisions based on experimental results Requires US Citizenship US Permanent Residency or other status as a US Person EOE of Minorities Females Vets Disability Please reference Avjobs when applying for this position.
