Aircraft Groomer Duties

Position Overview:
Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by providing a clean and properly stocked aircraft. To assist in cleaning and maintaining various grooming work areas. Clean the interior of aircraft using chemicals and cleaning solutions as needed. Stock paper products on aircraft and in respective cleaning areas (flight line or hangar). Stock customer comfort items on aircraft. Operate carpet cleaning machine and industrial washer and dryer or any other power equipment. Interpret and understand an RGG (Aircraft Routing schedule). Operate a two-way radio to pick up any changes in aircraft operation and to communicate with any personnel involved in the function of the Operation. Drive company vehicles on flight line to and from the hangar. Assist maintenance personnel with detailing of aircraft at hangar or flight line. This may include exterior washing of aircraft. Participate in aircraft ground security inspections required by FAA security directives.

Job Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a current valid Drivers License. Ability to safely lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities. Able to work with a minimum of planning. Work as a team player sometimes under stressful conditions. Position will include night weekend and holiday work as well as overtime if required.
