Columbia Avionics Inc started business on May 15 1995. On this date the Company purchased the existing avionics shop Jo-Del Electronics. Jo-Del Electronics was founded owned and operated by Del and Jo Whitmer very successfully for 17 year. All company operations are in Columbia Missouri at the Columbia Regional Airport.

Columbia Avionics is a privately owned company. The Company was owned by Robert Lennon and managed by Lance Fox in its inception. In December 2003 Lance Fox became the owner and president of Columbia Avionics Inc. In July of 2006 Columbia Avionics acquired the existing aircraft maintenance division at Columbia Regional Airport from Central Missouri Aviation. We now perform all routine and scheduled maintenance for general and corporate aircraft at Columbia Regional Airport.

Columbia Avionics provides sales installation and service support of avionics equipment and aircraft maintenance. We serve customers from all reaches of the United States Mexico Canada and Europe.
