To prepare material for shipment in accordance with commercial standards and
+ Loading and unloading incoming and outbound cargo vehicles
+ Inventory all received shipping containers
+ Verify shipping documents for quantity, part number, serial number, serviceability
+ Initiate warranty tags/stickers as required
+ Report and adjust inventory discrepancies for damaged or erroneous cargo
+ Update computer database for quantity received, issued, etc.
+ Practices good safety habits
+ Ensure warehouse facilities are clean and serviceable
+ Provide oversight/security for pilfer able, shelf life and warranty items
+ Use various machines, automation equipment, calculators and recorders to prepare printed material
+ Perform cycle counts/physical inventories and report inventory discrepancies
+ Operates Manual and Powered Industrial Vehicles
+ Move and consolidate stocked inventory to ensure organization of warehouse and grouping of incoming material.
+ Other duties as assigned.
This position will be exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual requirements are the minimum standard for those whose who operate cars, trucks, forklifts, cranes, and high lift equipment.
+ This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.
+ This position is subject to extreme cold, heat and/or noise.
+ This position is subject to a variety of physical and atmospheric conditions.
+ This position would require the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
+ Excellent written and verbal communication
+ Detail oriented
+ Ability to multi task and prioritize
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and general computing skills
+ Ability to work well with others employing Team Textron principles.
+ Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a government securityclearance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
+ High school diploma and a minimum 2 years directly related experience required
+ Experience in receiving operation is preferred.
+ Forklift Experience preferred.
