Job Title: Lead A&P Mechanic Location: Wateford, MI Employment: Full-time | Reports to: Director of Maintenance

Overview Lead and perform maintenance for a mixed fleet: King Air B200, Citation Excel (560XL), Piper Warrior, and Piper Archer. Supervise technicians, ensure airworthiness, and drive on-time aircraft availability under Part 91/135 operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations, assign work, and mentor A&P technicians.
• Perform and return-to-service inspections: 100?hour/annual, Phase/letter checks (B200), 560XL inspection program, and Piper inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair airframe, powerplant, electrical/avionics squawks; coordinate specialized vendor work.
• Review logbooks, create/approve work orders, and ensure accurate, timely maintenance records and parts traceability.
• Manage MEL/CDL/NEF items, discrepancies, and deferred maintenance in accordance with company manuals and 14 CFR.
• Plan scheduled maintenance, order parts, control costs, and minimize AOG time.
• Ensure tool control, GSE readiness, and shop safety; enforce SMS and OSHA practices.
• Coordinate with flight ops for scheduling; support AOG/off-site recovery as needed (some travel).
• Support conformity, AD/SB tracking, and compliance with CAMP/Traxxall/Corridor (or company system).
