GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is an aerospace staffing company specializing in temporary and permanent staffing for general and technical positions in the aviation and aerospace industry.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Service Representative (FSR) to support our operations in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. The FSR will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training for our customers’ equipment or systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, customer service excellence, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver on-site technical support, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of equipment or systems.
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and customers in the Seattle and Alaska regions.
Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support as needed (if aviation-specific).
Train customer personnel on equipment operation, best practices, and preventive care.
Document service visits, issues, resolutions, and parts used in CRM or service systems.
Provide feedback to engineering and product teams regarding product performance and reliability.
Maintain tools, service vehicles, and documentation in compliance with company standards.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, customer policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Travel frequently within the assigned territory, including extended trips to remote Alaska locations.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Aviation Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, etc.) or equivalent military/technical experience.
8+ years of hands-on field service, aircraft maintenance, or equipment support experience.
FAA A&P license preferred (if role supports aviation).
Strong troubleshooting skills—mechanical, electrical, or avionics systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient with service reporting tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain airport or site-specific security clearance.
Ability to work independently in variable weather and field conditions.
