Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable General Aviation Aircraft Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This role involves performing inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance on a variety of general aviation aircraft, including piston and turboprop models.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft.
- Perform 100-hour, annual, and phase inspections in accordance with FAA regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair airframe, engine, and avionics systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient and safe aircraft operations.
- Assist with pre-buy inspections and customer consultations.
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general aviation maintenance.
- Proficiency with piston, turboprop and jet aircraft systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a Part 145 Repair Station environment.
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking software.
- Customer service experience in an aviation setting.
