You will be a part of our Scheduling and Material Planning team which networks across all departments and plays a key role from proposal to product delivery. We feel a strong emphasis on Lean Six Sigma leads to process improvement and efficiency.This current opening may be filled at this level as posted or at one level higher.Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)Working under general supervision:40% - Responsible for establishing maintaining and providing a detailed scheduling context and analysis to production and support areas. Responsible for development and alignment on recovery plans or options.30% - Analysis of WIP Activities and maintains accurate order completion dates and responsible for the status and up to date context of all production activities. Key contributor to the production readiness activities.20% - Assist the Master Scheduler in MPS activity and the development of visual management scheduling tools to ensure proper tracking of key deliverables to plan.10% - Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.RequirementsRequires a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Management/Administration Operations Management Engineering or other Technical Degree and at least six (6) years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.Additional Requirements: Analytical thinking and problem solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-function/cross-site teams. Operations Scheduling and Engineering Value Stream experience or demonstrated willingness to learn. MS OfficeDesired Qualifications: Prior Oracle/Delmia/Windchill experience. Demonstrated Lean experience or certification. Willingness to learn Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as Delmia ASCP Oracle Enterprise Business Suite etc.Work Environment and Physical Requirements:Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking climbing stooping crouching and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses safety shoes and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
