About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Director for our Part 91 and Part 135 operation. You will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Salary based on experience.

Air Reldan, Inc., has been doing business since 1985. We have a total of 7 aircraft, Citation 550, KA-F90, KA-E90, Seneca V, Seneca III, Mooney M20J, C172.We are located at the Slidell Regional Airport, Slidell, LA, about 30-45 minutes outside of New Orleans. We have a nice size hangar and office workspaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with aircraft systems
• Comply with FAA regulations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities
• Keep maintenance shop and hangar organized and compliant to FAA standards.

Requirements

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
• Minimum 3 years part 135 experience in airframe and powerplant maintenance.
• Experience in King Air and Citation 550 is a plus
• Problem-solving capability is needed
• Must be able to obtain needed information and data from FAR's, bulletins, and maintenance manuals.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. routinely and 50 lbs. on occasion.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision and take initiative
• Ability to travel to other locations as needed
• Flexibility to work some nights and weekends
• Must be proficient in company-specific software and Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
