  • Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 for HondaJet type-rated pilots
  • Schedule: 3 flying days per week with 1 weekday overnight
  • Aircraft: Brand new HondaJet Elite II

Job Type:

Full-time, Salaried

Job Description:

We are seeking a professional, experienced, and safety-minded Corporate Aviation Pilot to operate a brand-new 2025 HondaJet Elite II, serving as Pilot in Command under Part 91. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled aviator to join a mission-driven private organization that values precision, reliability, and excellence in service.

This is not a high-pressure charter operation. Instead, you’ll fly for a CEO who leads a respected healthcare organization and values predictable schedules. You’ll operate approximately three days per week with one overnight, with occasional weekend family trips scheduled in advance.

In addition to flying, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end aircraft oversight including flight scheduling, maintenance coordination, regulatory compliance, and recordkeeping through CAMP systems. You’ll ensure the aircraft remains clean, up to date, and consistently ready for safe, seamless operation.

About the Owner and Company:

The aircraft owner is a proven entrepreneur and visionary leader with more than 30 years of success in the insurance, real estate, and in-home care industries. His companies have earned accolades like Best Employer and Best Provider, and his leadership style is defined by integrity, humility, and a commitment to service excellence.

His expectations for aviation mirror these values: safe operations, consistent standards, attention to detail, and well-planned travel that supports both business and family priorities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate as PIC of a 2025 HondaJet Elite II under Part 91
  • Lead all aspects of flight planning, dispatch, and FAA compliance
  • Coordinate with maintenance providers and manage CAMP logs
  • Schedule professional cleanings and maintain a pristine aircraft environment
  • Handle monthly flight time logging and data uploads to Honda
  • Keep avionics and database systems up to date
  • Provide safe and courteous transport for the owner, leadership team, and family

Flight Profile:

  • Departures from KCCR (Concord, CA)
  • Travel throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington
  • Predictable 3-day flying schedule per week, with 1 overnight
  • Occasionally scheduled weekend family trips
  • Highly predictable and limited schedule variability

Qualifications:

  • FAA ATP or Commercial Certificate with Instrument Rating
  • HondaJet type rating preferred but not required
  • 3,000 total flight hours preferred
  • Jet or turbine PIC experience strongly preferred
  • Single-pilot jet or multi-engine turboprop type rating preferred
  • Strong commitment to professionalism, discretion, and safety
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate

If you’re a seasoned pilot looking for a meaningful, stable role with a modern aircraft and high standards, we’d love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and credentials and we’ll be in touch soon.
