Job Description BAE Inc is currently seeking an F-35 Weapons Systems Maintenance Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join its Intelligence and Security Sector (Air Force Solutions) located at Eglin Air Force Base Florida supporting the Level 1 Training Systems Support Center for the F-35 Training System Enterprise Program. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Works in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) arrangement with employees of other companies supporting all aspects of F-35 Weapons Systems training for various customers. Candidate will work closely with Tier 1 partners the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JSFPO) US and non-US customers. Candidate will work as the F-35 Weapons SME by providing courseware developers with technical support for the F-35 Weapons Systems. Must be willing and able to learn the Martin Baker Ejection Seat Pilot Flight Equipment and other F-35 systems to support the Training System Enterprise. 2. Supports technical content reviews of applicable lessons for courseware development and revisions. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of Joint-service Technical Data (JTD) service publications and weapons systems in order to provide accurate and consistent instructional content to the F-35 Enterprise. The successful candidate will maintain a constant command of training courseware accuracy for lessons under their purview. 3. Assists the Training Device team with technical expertise if required. Utilizes the F-35 Maintenance Instructional Systems Design (ISD) database to update technical data associated with the training products. Ensures training resources are accurate and maintains data integrity within the database. Utilizes the Training Interface Control Database (TICD) Tool to track courseware reviews and document review data. 4. Meets suspense dates for applicable newly delivered lessons and lesson revisions. Develops tracking tools such as Excel spreadsheets and maintains the spreadsheets accurately and efficiently. Proactively develops processes procedures programs and/or tools to improve training develop storyboards and meet changing customer demands. Required Education Experience and Skills Must have an active secret clearance Must have a bachelors degree 10 years + experience on 4th or 5th generation fighter aircraft flight-line weapons systems maintenance Experience in on-the-job training on 4th and 5th generation fighter aircraft weapons systems Strong proven verbal and written communications skills Considered an expert/authority in their discipline Competent understanding of the Defense Systems Approach to Training Agile or ADDIE Instructional Systems Design processes Must have extensive Microsoft Access and Excel user experience as well as other Microsoft office products such as PowerPoint OneNote Outlook etc. Multi-tasking as well as providing great customer support Must be able to work with little to no direct supervision and complete projects on or before established schedules Preferred Education Experience and Skills Bachelors degree in a related field Proven F-35 Weapons Systems Maintenance Subject Matter Expertise Proven F-35 ordnance loading and unloading experience Working knowledge of ALIS/ODIN and using the Training Management System or Learning Management System on a Training or Operational Squadron Operating Unit Experience navigating F-35 Joint-service Technical Data and/or other electronic technical data Knowledgeable of the maintenance of the ejection seat or Pilot Flight Equipment About BAE Systems Intelligence and Security BAE Systems Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems plc an international defense aerospace and security company which delivers a full range of products and services for air land and naval forces as well as advanced electronics security information technology solutions and customer support services.
