The Boeing Company is seeking a C-17Base Level Engine Manager (Service Technical Analyst) under FA8526-12-D-0001-0005, Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program based out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. Base Level Engine Management is responsible for managing C-17 propulsion system to include but not limited to records, documentation, maintenance scheduling activities, and aircraft Optical Quick Access Recorder (OQAR) data processing and review.
- Collaborates with engineering disciplines to influence improvements in product designs and operational criteria
- Reviews manufacturing non-conformity data for potential impact to in-service fleet
- Provides technical support for maintenance, repair and preventive measures that ensure continued safe and economic operations for customers
- Participates in disabled product on-site surveys to assess extent of damage
This position is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with developing repair level analysis and/or scheduling maintenance programs
3+ years’ experience working with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications
Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)
Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with C-17
An active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
Bachelors and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
