Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s (BDS) Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) program is an air-defense, missile system designed to counter tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and advanced aircraft where Boeing is the original engineering manufacturer of the seeker. Boeing’s seekers provide active data to the PAC-3 missile which enables it to acquire, intercept and destroy threats using hit-to-kill technology. The PAC-3 program is looking for a Power Assembly (PA)Test Engineer. This position is located at the Boeing Jetplex facility in Huntsville, Alabama.

Performing Power Assembly Sub-assembly Troubleshooting
Performing analysis of test data to determine success or failure root cause
Participating in Non-Conformance Reviews (NCRs)
Developing dispositions to test Non-Conformances at the PA subassembly level
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field (or related technical field) OR any Bachelors degree and extensive experience with weapon systems
Experience supporting electrical power systems (electrical system design, electrical system verification, troubleshooting and/or support of anomaly resolution)
Experience performing signal and power integrity design, simulation, and analysis of electronic assemblies
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Experience working across a team representing multiple skill areas with internal and external resources and customers is preferred
Experience with complex systems development, integration and test is preferred
Experience with production/factory engineering processes is preferred
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
