Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking Non-Destructive Test Technicians to in Berkeley, MO, Ridley Park, PA, Mesa, AZ, and New Orleans, LA.

Position Responsibilities:

Level 2:

  • Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment to controlled standards

  • Assists in the documentation of procedures for setting up test equipment

  • Analyzes routine test, inspection or statistical data to determine product and processes conformity Assists with standard corrective action recommendations

  • Documents and communicates standard test, analysis or measurement results

  • Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results

Level 3:

  • Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment

  • Develops procedures and processes. Performs tests or inspections and collects data

  • Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations

  • Provides feedback on adverse trends

  • Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products

  • Conducts certification preparation training

Level 4:

  • Guides the development or improvement of non-destructive inspection or test techniques

  • Develops, deploys and implements tests or inspections and data collection techniques utilizing evolving technology
    Develops program specific non-destructive testing documents

  • Develops and implements processes and procedures for new or revised non-destructive testing methods

  • Audits, validates and approves systems and techniques of suppliers and processors

  • Develops certification training and examinations

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 1 year of experience with NDT Quality Testing

  • More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • An AA degree in related NDT discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education / Experience:

Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years related work experience, etc.).

Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years related work experience, 5 years related work experience, etc.).

Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years related work experience, 8 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation may be available in some locations.
