Help us make aviation history.ROLE OVERVIEWThe primary responsibilities will include design manufacture integration and testing of custom circuit boards and embedded system components.Must Have:5+ years experience including analog and digital PCB design for aerospace industryExperience assembling testing and troubleshooting prototype circuit designs and PCB assembliesWorking knowledge of sensors and flight test instrumentation analog and digital signalsExperience integrating COTS components including navigation air data and communication equipment into airframesExperience developing and refining system level requirements from formal and informal sourcesKnowledge of air vehicle systems systems integration engineering design the drawing release process and subsystems/component qualificationAbility to read and create wiring diagrams and troubleshoot wiring on test bench or on vehicleExcellent communication skills - able to partner internally and research and interact with potential suppliersNice to Have:Experience with manned experimental aircraft flight testingExperience integrating COTS components including navigation air data and communication equipment into airframesExperience developing software on microcontrollersExposure to a variety of aircraft hardware development standardsDegrees and Certification:An undergraduate degree in Aerospace Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science is requiredA masters degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering is preferredPilots license and/or Aircraft Mechanic (A) license is a strong plusTo conform to U.S. Government aerospace technology export regulations (ITAR and EAR) applicant must be a U.S. citizen lawful permanent resident of the U.S. protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
