Summary

This position is responsible for promoting and selling contract manufacturing services for CFT Classic Precision. The target markets are aerospace (commercial and military) stationary power generation medical and industrial manufacturers which require high precision CNC capability. Typical components are high precision super-alloy components.

Essential Functions

  • Call on all levels of customers and prospective customers from Engineering Supply Chain Quality Purchasing and all associated Corporate decision makers. Develop relationships at all levels within the prospective/assigned accounts so as to identify all opportunities for component manufacturing and to become a vital resource for those customers.
  • Understand customers needs and processes be able to develop and present solutions and communicate the benefits features and functions of our offerings/capabilities. Be able to compare and contrast to competitive alternatives.
  • Prepare and conduct presentations to customers informing them of our capabilities and track record in aerospace.
  • Communicate with customers on matters of credit quality and complaints to ensure that smooth and enduring relationships are maintained between the company and its customers.
  • Prepare necessary documentation spreadsheet and word processing documents to perform return on investment analysis develop customer quotations submit monthly and annual forecasts generate sales leads complete weekly call reports and provide regular updates for the marketing database for assigned region.
  • Promote and coordinate product laboratory demonstrations when appropriate with customers and in-house product specialists and sales support staff.
  • Manage and grow a large portfolio pf Long Term Agreements (LTA) parts contracts.
  • Qualify leads and schedule plan and organize in-person sales calls to make optimum use of available selling time while locating prospects for future business and maintain a base of future customers.
  • Gather trade focus information and coordinate best practices meetings to enable the company to keep abreast of relevant product marketing information.
  • Ensure compliance with company and department policies and with relevant employment safety and environment laws.
  • Travel extensively (50% +) to customer and distributor locations as well as trade shows conventions meetings and other locations as needed.
