DutiesHelpDutiesSummaryTHIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.This National Guard position is for a AIRCRAFT SURVIVAL FLIGHT EQUIPMENT REPAIRER - TITLE 32 Position Description Number PDD1992000 and is part of the KY AASF National Guard.Learn more about this agencyResponsibilitiesAs a AIRCRAFT SURVIVAL FLIGHT EQUIPMENT REPAIRER - TITLE 32 WG-4818-10 you will inspect test certify repair assemble and maintain Aircraft Life Support Equipment (ALSE). Issue fit and adjust ALSE. Schedule inspections and maintain accountability on ALSE and weapons. Inspect and maintain necessary medication stocks. Ensure that material and equipment are properly stored protected and maintained. Instruct crewmembers in all ALSE categories. Instruct personnel in survival techniques. Develop and maintain charts mock-ups and training aids. Certify ALSE requirements for all missions. Ensure aircraft are properly configured with proper types and amount of ALSE. Conduct FOT&E (Follow on Test and Evaluation) of ALSE to ensure flight safety and optimum performance standards. Comply with safety fire security and housekeeping regulations. Ensure completion of quarterly inspections by Commander Aviation Safety Officer and Flight Surgeon. Supervise instruct train and certify traditional Guard members on the aircrew life support career field. Prepare for and participate in various types of readiness evaluations inspections mobilization and command support exercises. Prepare Annual Budget analysis and projections for ALSE shop operations. Experience collecting information and presenting it to various sized groups.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Resume must have complete dates work schedule and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
