Job Title: Director of Maintenance (DOM)

Location: Atoka, OK

Job Description:

Drone Express is looking for an experienced Director of Maintenance (DOM). The Director of Maintenance (DOM) is an essential management role responsible for the development and oversight of the FAA part 135 Maintenance Department. They work hand in hand with the Director of Operations and the Chief Pilot.

About the Company: Drone Express is a fast-growing last-mile logistics company that uses airborne autonomous drones for local package delivery. Drone delivery provides low-cost same-day delivery for retailers nationwide that is contact-less, safe and eco- friendly. Drone Express is currently receiving a Type Certificate for its aircraft and is also pursuing its Part 135 Operating Certificate. As a member of the FAA BEYOND program, Drone Express is working to safely integrate drones into the National Airspace System. Additionally, Drone Express has partnered with several large nationwide retailers including The Kroger Company and Papa Johns. Drone Express is a division of the telecommunication company TELEGRID.

Director of Maintenance (DOM) Responsibilities:

· Responsible for efficient and economic accomplishment of all maintenance functions.

· Coordinates with other departments regarding the flight and maintenance scheduling of aircraft.

· Establish programs for the department to aid staff members in handling company policies and procedures within budget guidelines.

· Develop, maintain, revise and control company manuals and all other forms and documents pertaining to maintenance.

· Evaluate equipment and manual requirements required by Part 135.

Director of Maintenance (DOM) Requirements:

· Have 3 years of experience within the past 6 years maintaining aircraft as a certificated mechanic, including, at the time of appointment as Director of Maintenance, experience in maintaining the same category and class of aircraft as the certificate holder uses; OR

· Have 3 years of experience within the past 6 years repairing aircraft in a certificated airframe repair station, including 1 year in the capacity of approving aircraft for return to service.

· Previous experience in a Part 135 or Part 121 operation.

· Must hold a mechanic certificate with airframe and powerplant ratings.
