We are currentlyseeking a Senior Engineer/Analyst (Missile Systems) with demonstrated experience in supporting DoD MDAP acquisition programs developmental test and evaluation programs and systems analysis. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.Mature judgement required to interface with external stakeholders and senior government personnel.Position located in the Washington D.C./Virginia area. - Work to evaluate and secure cutting-edge technology and engineering capabilities to facilitate modernization efforts and support DoD joint warfighting efforts - Work with a team of driven supportive and highly skilled professionals - Provide Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT and E) and Cyber and Information Systems Engineering support of Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAP) - Review and assess Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) and developmental test plans - Evaluate test results schedules resources and technological risks for program reviews - Provide working-level integrated product teams (WIPTs) Test and Evaluation and engineering support - Support Independent Technical Risk Assessments (ITRA) - Develop papers reports and briefings targeted to senior decision makers - Assess and provide recommendations on DT and E policy Qualifications Required (Skills) - Bachelors degree in science or engineering field (or 12+ years of experience in Systems Engineering/Test and Evaluation work on a DoD MDAP) - At least 10 Years of Experience (OSD PEO/PM Service HQ) - 8 years of experience supporting DoD MDAP acquisition programs developmental test and evaluation programs and systems analysis - 8 years of experience overseeing engineering activities (e.g. requirements design integration and test) - 8+ years of experience supporting DoD Missile Warfare MDAPs developmental test and evaluation and systems engineering and analysis - Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Ability to develop papers reports and briefings targeted to senior decision makers. - Experience to include supporting policy and process engineering activities. Experience supporting OSD and/or Service Branch HQ organizations.
