Eaton Located in HighlandIL has an opening for an Inside Sales Manager B Eaton’s B-Line Series is a leadingmanufacturer of quality support systems and enclosures for the electricalmechanical and communications industries. Our product lines are manufactured inmodern facilities throughout the United States United Kingdom and the Kingdomof Saudi Arabia and are used in a variety of applications in the commercialindustrial utility and OEM markets. As the Inside Sales Manager youwill lead a team of highly talented quotations specialists to drive growth andshape the future of Eaton’s B-Line Series. Your responsibilities will include executingpricing strategies driving revenue ensuring profitability and market penetration.This is a high visibility position located at the division headquarters whichwill lead critical interactions with internal (Sales Finance IT Marketingetc.) and external (manufacturing representatives distributors OEM’s) customersto help deliver a world class level of service. Team Management: + Manage and motivate at least 10employees to ensure high-quality service is consistently provided at alltimes + Setclear and smart team objectives and evaluate performance against thoseobjectives using the annual performance review process. + Coachand develop employees to build skills within the pricing organization + Buildrelationships with internal departments to provide and receive feedback oninside sales process + Maintaincurrent awareness of market pricing trends and communicate recommendedproduct-specific price level adjustments + Resolveescalations of pricing negotiations that occur between customers and theinside sales team Day to DayResponsibilities: + Execute product line pricingstrategies related to market share growth and profit targets + Accountablefor maintaining profit margins and price realization + Proactivelyengage the Product Line Managers by providing recommendations on pricingauthority levels + Reportmetrics on a routine basis and address any deviations against plan toensure performance exceeds expectations. + Maintaincooperative relationships with corporate customers to ensure adherence topolicies + Abilityto do financial analyses + Followup on outstanding quotations to determine project status increase successrate and measure win/loss ratios Process Improvement: + Ensures business processes areclearly defined and communicated resulting in customer satisfaction andcost control + Developand champion process improvement projects + Manageall methods of non-stock pricing from quote initiation through orderprocessing and customer invoicing Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accreditedinstitution is required + Minimum 5 years of professional workexperience is required + Minimum 2 years Inside Salesexperience is required + Minimum 2 years experience leading ateam of people is required + Must be legally authorized to work inthe United States without sponsorship + No relocation benefit is offered forthis position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographicalarea (within 50 miles) of Highland IL will be considered for thisposition Position Criteria: + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Officeapplications (particularly Outlook Excel and PowerPoint). + Strong interpersonal and communicationskills and the ability to effectively interact with both internal andexternal customers via phone e-mail and other written and verbalcommunication mediums. Preferred Qualifications:
+ MBA preferred + Experience managing a team of 5+direct reports is preferred + Knowledge of B-Line Products ispreferred + Knowledge of SAP and Business Exploreris preferred + Background in Manufacturing orDistribution + Experience with electrical mechanicalor datacom channels is preferred We make what matters work.
