About

Enhanced Radar / ATCExpert is an aviation AI research firm looking for pilots to contract part-time to review air traffic control audio transcriptions to be used in the development of AI models for aviation safety applications.

Job Description

As an ATCExpert reviewer, you will work remotely and at flexible hours to review and edit transcripts of air traffic control audio. You will perform this work via the ATCExpert web app, which presents the user with pre-transcribed 3- to 10-second audio segments of pilot-controller communications. Your job is to check these transcriptions for accuracy and to ensure they conform to the company's guidelines and conventions for consistency.

Ideal Candidate

Accuracy and transcription quality are extremely important; for this reason, we recommend that pilots with at least 50 hours of logged time (logged within the U.S.) apply.

The ideal candidate is a pilot or student pilot who is looking for flexible and remote aviation-related work that can be performed in parallel to their main career.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail. We recommend that applicants commit at least 10 hours weekly to reviewing on the platform.

Pay

Reviewers can expect to be paid $18-34 per hour. Payment is calculated on a per-word-transcribed basis; no reviewer has earned less than $15 per hour.

Payment is made to all contractors on a weekly basis.
