To get there we are looking for incredibly passionate bright and determined people to join our team.SUMMARYAs C&DH Lead Engineer for Spacecraft you will be responsible for ensuring interface and protocol compatibility between all bus components on the Blue Ghost lunar lander. You will work with all component vendors directly and make sure that all required emulators EGSE and flight equipment are available and implemented to support the mission schedule.RESPONSIBILITIES Have in-depth end-to-end knowledge of all lander instruments and components. Define all C&DH interface requirements. Define integration requirements for C&DH system. Troubleshooting and testing of C&DH system. Support weekly updates with Firefly Systems Engineers and component vendors. Support HITL laboratory setup and operations for lander program. Support design and readiness reviews. Perform C&DH resource utilization and timing analyses.QUALIFICATIONSRequired BS in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline. 3+ years of experience in related engineering discipline supporting spacecraft or launch vehicle avionics. Ability to effectively work in a multi-discipline team and provide technical guidance and insight. Effective communication and ability to present for design and readiness reviews. Demonstrated ability to work to schedule. Fully fluent and competent in usage of multimeters logic analyzers network analyzers and oscilloscopes. Operational experience with HITL laboratories. Experience working with various digital communication protocols especially UART and RS-422.Desired 5+ years of experience in related engineering discipline supporting spacecraft operation. Operational experience with RF hardware. Flexibility to meet changing program needs.
