We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Intern to support structural design projects at General Atomics-ASI in our Platform Design Group.
This position is available for undergraduate or graduate students to participate in supervised practical training in a professional field. This individual would work on design and analysis of a composite air vehicle structure or component. This may involve configuration and material trade studies modeling and interaction with other engineering disciplines. Assists in the completion of non-routine and advanced tasks; assists in the analysis investigation and solution of non-routine problems; and assists in developing electronic and hard copy documentation as required.

Engineering Intern - Platform Design
+ Typically requires enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at a recognized college or university.
+ Ability to understand new concepts and apply them accurately.
+ Ability to follow general and detailed instructions as well as organizational policies and procedures.
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective interface with internal professionals.
+ Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Students pursuing degrees in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering preferred.
+ Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
+ Minimum 3.0 GPA required
