Harren Equity Partners, a $500 million investment fund, is seeking a Chief Pilot for N434JA- Pilatus PC-12 S/N819 aircraft, to join our team. This position includes PIC, SIC and administrative responsibilities as outlined below. The Pilot is at all times directly responsible for the operation of the aircraft, and safety of the passengers and crew. The owner and managing partner is an IFR rated private pilot with over 3,500 total hours and 2,000 hours time in type. The plane generally flies approximately 250 hours per year.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Be available and accessible on a timely basis (communicate effectively times when you will not be available and accessible)
  • Communicate and coordinate scheduling
  • Perform external and internal pre-flight aircraft inspections
  • Maintain appropriate supplies and publications aboard the aircraft and in the hangar, as appropriate
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the aircraft and hangar before and after each flight
  • Coordinate catering when required
  • Organize flight by studying load and fuel requirements
  • Prepare and file flight plan, choose FBO and fueling options
  • Obtain takeoff, flight, and landing instructions with flight controllers
  • Monitor flight operations
  • Maintain safe operations by complying with and enforcing federal aviation administration, company, and airport regulations
  • For international flights, prepare EAPIS and coordinate with customs and immigration

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Complete Log Reports by entering required information and promptly submit to JAC Accounting at month-end
  • Negotiate and investigate pricing/options for repairs and upgrades
  • Develop an annual maintenance schedule, report maintenance requirements and follow thru with repairs
  • Organize maintenance records and create and update annual maintenance schedule
  • Coordinate routine maintenance
  • Insure compliance with FAR's, SB’
  • Maintain/track warranty records, obtain warranty amounts for parts/service under warranty
  • Coordinate Annual Inspections

Qualifications

  • Candidates should have a minimum of 3,500 hours total time
  • 1000 hours time in type
  • Current Pilatus PC-12 certification
  • ATP rating

In addition, candidates must have the following qualifications:

  • High integrity
  • Reliability, diligence and a strong attention to detail
