Overview The Vice President Inflight Experience is an officer of Spirit Airlines who operates as a core member of the executive team ensuring alignment and execution of strategic corporative objectives and initiatives. The Vice President is responsible for driving industry-leading safety operational reliability and financial performance of a high impact guest facing flight attendant group with 5000 team members proliferating the Spirit Way. The Vice President develops implements and ensures the effective management of programs that include revenue optimization guest experience improvement process engineering automation and compliance with regulatory and compliance obligations. The Vice President fosters a culture of engagement partnership and accountability with our team members and unions while providing overall leadership that fuels world class management across a comprehensive and expanding base footprint through the Americas. As a key champion of the end to end onboard experience the Vice President is a guest-obsessed leader who can play at the strategic and operational level while rolling their sleeves up and collaborating with the front line. Responsibilities Promote and engender a Culture of Safety : Permeate the importance of safe operating practices throughout the organization empowering each Team Member with the authority and responsibility to stop the operation if the safety of personnel or assets is in jeopardy. Foster Diversity Inclusion Belonging and Engagement : Encourage Team members to live by Spirits Common Purpose - We SOAR by serving each other and our guests one journey at a time (verify common purpose) through respect recognition and communication. Promote and foster a culture that harnesses diverse perspectives. Utilize Guest Insights Onboard Sales On-time Performance to drive to deliver superior Inflight Experience : Orchestrate the delivery of an end product that meets or exceeds guest expectations through the creative management of people processes and technology. Elevate the guest perception of the Spirit onboard experience through orchestration of game-changing initiatives. Explore innovate and implement technology that improves operational performance increases guest satisfaction reduces costs and drives revenue up. (high importance) Deliver excellence in operational performance : Ensuring Flight Attendant teams are laser focused and accountable for safe on-time departures; including administration of Team Member Dependability Program. Oversee the strategy and execution of Spirits catering program : Meet or exceed customer and Team Member expectations relative to product availability and Point of Sale device reliability and availability. Increase program profitability through program development and cost control. Understand sales mechanisms and top performers to create incentives and recognition. Design and consistently administer Inflight Uniform Program. Ensure Flight Attendants voices are considered when deploying uniform modifications. Achieve Industry-leading Financial Performance : Establish the most cost-effective and efficient business unit through sound and innovative financial management and oversight. Create opportunities generate additional onboard revenue. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all Spirit and regulatory standards and procedures are followed. Leads the Inflight Emergency Response Program. Establish and maintain productive relationships with operational and non-operational counterparts : Build effective relationships with Airport Services Flight Operations Technical Operations Crew Resources AFA leadership Uniform Committee EAP/Professional Standards Committee Health and Safety Committee Grievance Committee OSHA and FAA. Participate in the negotiation of a mutually beneficial new Flight Attendant contract : Drive contract negotiations and implementation. Responsible for the accurate administration of all aspects of the Flight Attendant agreement including grievances mediation and arbitrations. Qualifications Advanced degree 10+ years experience Ability to maintain current Spirit Airlines Flight Attendant Certification Mastery of all aspects of a Flight Attendants role and daily job duties. Advanced experience in contract interpretation and application. Cost-focused operational leadership experience. Expertise in Inflight policies and procedures attendance control Flight Attendant Manual development Emergency Response procedures Collective Bargaining Labor Relations Federal Aviation Regulations and onboard sales program development and management. Experience with collective bargaining agreement administration required.
