Description:Service repairs and overhauls F-22 aircraft electrical systems to ensure airworthiness. Repair replaces and rebuilds aircraft electrical systems. Incorporate engineering changes. Replaces and repairs worn or damaged components. Adjust repairs and replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessoriesRead and interpret F-22 engineering drawings technical manuals electrical systems understanding symbols flags and general notes - Identify aircraft locations by station butt-line and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders. Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationship of circuits. Perform such tasks as making circuit analyzes and tracing relationships in signal flow. Use complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators frequency synthesizers distortion analyzers and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices may provide technical guidance.Regularly required to perform repetitive movements work overhead use hands to grasp handle and/or feel reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand walk stoop kneel squat crawl and twist.Additional requirement: During periods of non electrical work application of Low Observable material is required such as. Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean FOD-free work area.Physical Demands:Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements work overhead use hands to grasp handle and/or feel reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand walk stoop kneel squat crawl and twist.Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.Basic Qualifications:5 to 7 years of Fighter Aircraft Electrical/Avionics Experience5 to 7 years Low Observable Coatings application experience and training5 or 7 Skill level USAF AFSC Navy NEC or Marine MOS discipline rating or an equivalent Airframe and Power Plant FAA certificate or equivalent 6 years experienceDesired Skills:Knowledgeable of Tool Control FOD Supply HAZMAT Training Quality and Security programs.
