Description, duties, responsibilities
Main Accountabilities Include:
+ To do planning in Work Bridge system.  Manage daily hourly and real-time basis the manpower and GSE plan for the YYZ Operation.
+ Allocate manning to meet the needs to customer and Menzies aviation.
+ Become direct point of contact to provide real time operational information for Teams Airlines and Station Manager.
+ Create live shift report.
+ Update aircraft arrival and departure times communicate to crews.
+ Record staff absences or late personnel make changes to ramp team to cover and shortfall in manning.
+ Ensure safety and security procedures are performed according to the Menzies Health and Safety regulations and according to international aviation standards.
+ Monitor performance taking action to correct any shortfalls.
+ Liaises with airline station managers airport operations staff handling agents customs immigration and security officials and other airport stakeholders.
+ Work shifts as required by the business.
+ Prepare disciplinary incident and or termination reports as needed for violations of company policy.
+ Promote a culture of safe working within the Company
+ Ensures tasks are performed in accordance with the Company and Airlines specific procedures and policies  Required to attend the mandatory training imposed by the Company and Airlines as per job role.
+ Ensure accuracy of all weight and balance requirements
+ Promptly handle all customer service complaints with a focus on positive resolution.
+ Complete all check-in procedures including the handling of reservations ticketing seat assignments airport announcements and checking for proper international documentation.
+ Ensures tasks are performed in accordance with the Company and Airlines specific procedures and policies.
+ Assist customers with special needs and unaccompanied minors.
+ Must be able to read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions hazardous material identification labels aircraft loading manifests and baggage and cargo routing tags.
+ Ensure the safe and secure operations in accordance with the highest possible standards of health safety security and all government statutory requirements
+ You may be required to drive and operate small specialized commercial vehicles at times and as such you will require a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
+ Required to attend the mandatory training imposed by the Company and Airlines as per job role.
+ Must be able to comfortably and continuously move/lift customer luggage with an average weight of 50 pounds in some cases exceeded 70 pounds.
+ Promote a professional image at all time and comply with company uniform standards
Qualifications and Experience:
+ Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and legally able to work in Canada;
+ Maximum of 6 months Passenger Service experience at a high volume international airport;
+ Able to communicate verbal and written in the English language effectively;
+ Must have valid G or G2 Driver’s license
+ Ability to work within a pressured environment
+ Must be able to work extended hours and flexible shifts when required which may include weekends and holidays
+ Must be able to obtain and hold all required security clearances
+ Must be able to occasionally lift up to 70lbs if required
+ Conversant with international airline ramp handling procedures International aviation safety and security procedures and Menzies safety and security procedures;
+ Excellent knowledge of Passenger Services
+ Must be reliable
