Key Responsibilities
Able to make the following decisions:
+ + Control of aircraft to and from ramp in the non-movement areas.
+ Anticipate aircraft movements in coordination with FAA Ground Control.
+ Sequence and separation for pushback and engine start at the gates.
+ Prepare for sequence of arriving traffic prior to arrival at the ramp.
+ The merging of arriving and pushback traffic that will assure all aircraft equitable treatment and provide for minimum delays.
Able to resolves problems with:
+ + Communications equipment
+ Aero Bahn Flight arrival Monitor (Ground Radar) display
+ Gate Explorer display
+ Gate Management computer programs.
+ Instruct aircraft how and when to push-back instruct aircraft when to taxi who to follow and frequency transfer points to metering.
+ coordinate with airport authority when necessary.
+ Responsible for delay prevention and cancel impact mitigation thru issue resolution or escalation to station leadership as required
+ Support standard work to achieve On Time and safe performance
+ Effectively communicate and interact with both internal and external departments and agencies in the performance of their work
+ Prepare and compile flight departure paperwork as needed audit and file flight paperwork and fuel service records
+ Support and assist in planning and coordinating irregular operations including Long Tarmac Delay situations and reporting
+ Plan and manage gate and remote parking
+ Update Flight Information in all applicable programs
+ Required to attend the mandatory training imposed by the Company and Airlines as per job role
+ Other duties as assigned
