Key Responsibilities
+ Fully responsible for all aspects of the station (combined Menzies and ASIG station operations)
+ Fully accountable for the financial performance and compliance with Corporate Governance legal and quality aspects of Menzies’ businesses in the station
+ Leading and working with the senior team to maintain and enhance appropriate effective safety and security systems risk assessments periodical inspections and audits operational training programs planning operational processes and service delivery
+ Regularly interacts with customers to promote the station and to measure the level of customer satisfaction
+ Uses customer feedback to constantly develop and improve capabilities and processes
+ Implementation of the company policies and procedures promoting sound safety security and people management practice
+ Promoting and driving a ‘safety first’ culture through all levels of the organisation
+ Ensure the business unit remains fully compliant with internal standards and all relevant industry regulatory and state legislated requirements
+ Lead and motivate hard working teams to deliver excellent quality and productivity
+ Directing and motivating Managers to achieve agreed targets
+ Perform as a mentor to other employees
+ Safety and security are the responsibility of each employee
+ Required to attend the mandatory training imposed by the Company and Airlines as per job role
+ Maintains all equipment records and monitors vehicle registration and hour meter program
+ Determines work procedures prepares work schedules and expedites workflow
+ Perform as a mentor to other employees and provide training to new employees
+ Some responsibilities may include interviewing hiring and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems as needed for violations of company policy
+ Complete shift reports and sign timecards
+ Assist in the preparation of performance evaluation forms
+ Prepare disciplinary incident and/or termination reports
+ Conduct shift briefings to ensure staff is organized and informed
+ Comply with the company’s attendance/tardiness standards
+ Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications
+ Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Excellent leadership and people management skills
+ Experience in business development sales and commercial negotiation and pricing
+ Wide ranging general management experience with some years of senior management experience
+ Extensive management and/or support service experience
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills balanced with a high level of confidence to influence and present at all levels
+ Interpersonal skills: Independence decisiveness and the ability to work accurately and independent of immediate support
+ Able to influence engage and motivate at all levels
+ Flexible determined to succeed and self-motivated
+ All applicants must hold requisite employment authority to work in the USA
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Must pass pre-employment drug screen
+ Must pass color blindness test
+ Must have current valid US driver’s license
+ Ability to proficiently read write and speak English

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job the employee may regularly work in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts high voltages and high hydraulic/pneumatic pressures. The employee is also frequently exposed to very loud noise levels fumes or airborne particles and hazardous substances materials or waste. The employee occasionally works in high precarious places.
Under the daily supervision of the Maintenance Manager with assistance as needed from the Station Manager. Performs periodic maintenance and inspections on filters pumps valves tanks pressure controls metering and gauging equipment company vehicles. Troubleshoot and repair above mentioned equipment as well as pipeline issues electrical equipment motors switch gear and lighting. Ensures that all work assigned is performed in a timely fashion with quality workmanship. Ensure through definitive methods that product meets or exceeds quality standards set forth; ensure all work is completed in a timely manner contributing to an efficient operation while projecting a professional image for MENZIES AVIATION.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with arms climb or balance; and talk or hear.
Other tasks include digging and shoveling such as snow removal around equipment and office. Employee may also engage in debris removal which involves lifting bending and stooping. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70lbs.
