This position will provide HSE&F leadership and oversight for over 100 employees. The HSE&F Manager will be responsible for establishing strong working relationships with all functions and partnering with the business on HSE compliance project management and accident prevention. In addition the Manager is responsible for implementing Corporate and Aerospace HSE&F standards providing technical assistance on HSE&F issues and directing the HSE&F AOP STRAP and Corporate governance processes. This includes direct responsibility for the assurance letter compliance initiatives governmental reporting best practice sharing and driving HOS deployment efforts and lean initiatives to reduce waste and drive continual improvement.

Develops programs to ensure compliance with State Federal and local regulations.
Deploys safety industrial hygiene and environmental processes which demonstrate continuous improvement in HS&E stewardship directed toward preventing accidents eliminating hazards minimizing waste and injury / pollution prevention.
Participates in the development of Aerospace initiatives and directs site deployment of management systems including leadership standards risk assessment and risk management processes.
Directs site initiative to maintain external HSE&F certifications.
Delivers regular presentations / communications to Corporate HSE and business leaders to enable key decision making on compliance financial and strategic HSE&F and business matters.
Interfaces with government agencies to maintain regulatory compliance.
Complete HPD and MRR process for the site HSE&F function. Partners with site leader to integrate a culture of HSE&F accountability performance and compliance.
Implements energy management and conservation plans and achieves improvement of equipment uptime and performance rates through strategic implementation of Total Productive Maintenance.
Facilitates the continuous improvement of health and wellness program with interventions reducing workers compensation and disability costs and improving productivity.
Develop and manage the AOP and STRAP budget for the HSE&F department.

Basic Qualifications:
For Export Compliance candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environment Engineering Facilities or related field required.
7+ years of experience leading the implementation of HSE programs in a manufacturing environment.
5+ years of progressive management/supervisor experience of personnel.
5+ years of thorough knowledge and experience in managing compliance with all HSE disciplines and regulations.

Additional Qualifications:
Black Belt / TPM Expert / Lean Expert certification.
Masters degree.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP).
Demonstrated ability to articulate and drive strategic ideas and issues to senior management.
Excellent interpersonal strategic decision making written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience leading the implementation of HSE management systems.
