This position will be located in Palmdale CA Center of Excellence where technology and teamwork come together. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grummans Mission Assurance Team working in a collaborative environment while promoting a positive and proactive teamwork environment.Roles and Responsibilities:Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning project team and line management.Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers line managers and clients.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree with 8 years of project management experience and/or experience in a production or operations environment a Masters Degree with 6 years of project management experience and/or experience in a production or operations environment or a PhD with 4 years of project management experience and/or experience in a production or operations environment.Proficiency in MS Project and MS Excel.Preferred Qualifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate or similar.Aerospace and/or Defense industry Experience.Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing / Assembly line setting.Salary Range: $103200.00 - $154800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience education skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
