Northrop Grumman Propulsion Systems is currently seeking an experienced Quality Systems Analyst to join our Audits and Quality Systems group in the Promontory Utah facility. Role Description and Responsibilities:
The Quality Systems Analyst provides quality management system expertise and technical editing for all Propulsion Systems principles and operating practices including topical manuals work instructions handbooks guidelines and forms.
Write review edit and maintain Northrop Grumman Propulsion Systems principles and operating practices topical manuals work instructions handbooks guidelines alert notifications and forms.
Create edit and maintain principles and operating practices SharePoint sites.
Work with document authors process owners and leaders throughout Propulsion Systems to ensure Propulsion Systems quality management systems principles and operating practices comply with Northrop Grumman corporate industry and aerospace and defense standards customer and Government contractual requirements.
Facilitates leads and supports continuous improvements efforts related to Propulsion Systems principles and operating practices.
Performs gap analyses to ensure compliance to industry and aerospace and defense standards and contractual requirements.
Facilitate plan conduct and support internal and external ISO 9001/AS9100 compliance and systems audits.
Has daily interface with team members leaders and customers throughout Propulsion Systems.
Create review and edit documents such as policies procedures topical manuals work instructions handbooks guidelines and forms.
Ensures technical documentation is accurate complete meets editorial industry standards and customer and government requirements and adheres to standards for quality graphics format and style.
Performs technical editing document approval and document release.
Ensure all documents are prepared in accordance with contract requirements department standards and guidelines.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
Level of Contact:
Leaders managers supervision engineers and team members throughout Northrop Grumman Propulsion Systems external customers and Government representatives.
Minimum of 3 years experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented
- Excellent experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Some technical editing experience preferred
- ISO 9001 and AS9100 certified lead auditor is preferred Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor or Masters degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
