Unmanned Aircraft Services Maintenance Technician

UAS maintenance for a wide range of unmanned aircraft and components including motors, batteries, inertial navigation, and automatic flight control systems; performing electrical troubleshooting operations and performing micro-mini module repairs. Perform preflight, post flight and other periodic aircraft inspections. Service, remove and replace aircraft components including fixed and movable surfaces, rotor blades, and actuators. Scheduling aircraft inspections. Maintenance logbooks and associated aircraft records. Preparing reports related to aircraft status.

5+ years of assembly, maintenance and modification of UAS including ESCs, transmitters, and electrical components.
Ability to read electrical system diagrams and working knowledge of aviation electronics.
History troubleshooting and repairing a number of complex electronics systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, partners, customers, and regulators. Ability to work part of a team environment and without direct supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of proper English usage, grammar, vocabulary, spelling.
Must be able to handle confidential information and issues effectively and without breach of confidentiality.

A.S. Degree in Aviation or Engineering related industry or equivalent work experience
FAA Part 107 SUAS Remote Pilot Certificate
Applicants should have a high degree of computer literacy.
Ability to obtain a security clearance if required.
