PLI recognizes great talent through empowering employees to succeed while offering:+ Top tier PTO (Paid Time Off) + 10 paid Holidays + Medical dental vision the first of the preceding month after hire+ Educational Assistance Reimbursement+ LTD 401k and other optional benefitsSummary:The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible to develop and implement quality-driven manufacturing systems processes and equipment to produce new and existing products.Responsibilities: + Interpret and convert customer technical data for Data Bus RF Point-to-Point wire harnesses to manufacturing documentation for building high quality products.+ Problem solves troubleshoots and/or recommends opportunities to improve internal production issues and customer design issues. + Recommend corrective or preventive actions to assure or improve product quality or reliability. + Investigate research recommend and implement new equipment purchases. + Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures. + Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing to production teams.+ Design and implement tools and fixtures required for effective manufacturing. Position Requirements:+ Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field+ 5-10 years minimum experience in design and manufacturing of wiring harnesses and interconnects preferably in Aerospace Manufacturing environment + Advanced experience in SOLIDWORKS AutoCAD or other 3D modeling software + Knowledgeable in industry drawing standards and Military Specifications + Possess strong organizational analytical and communication skills with excellent attention to detail. + Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Programs.Strongly Preferred: + Flexibility in dealing with a dynamic manufacturing environment able to interact effectively with all levels within the company.+ Technical expertise working within ERP Systems. + Self-starter with ability to work independently or part of a team. + Product development and design experience. Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position is operated in an office and manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to sit stand walk and perform general office functions. The employee may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. The employee may be required to stand for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop kneel or crouch.
