Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Aviation Mechanic to join our team. This role involves working on general aviation aircraft (primarily Cessnas and Pipers) to ensure structural integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install parts and components on aircraft structures
- Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on aircraft structures
- Conduct tests and troubleshoot structural issues as they arise
- Follow technical manuals and specifications to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR)
- Use a variety of tools and equipment, including sheet metal, calipers, and soldering irons
- Collaborate with other aviation professionals to support efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed for regulatory and maintenance purposes

Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years in general aviation (Cessnas and Pipers) is required

Skills:
- Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and repair
- Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Licenses: Airframe & Powerplant License (Required)

Additional Information:
Shift Availability: Day Shift (Preferred), Night Shift (Preferred)

Relocation: Must be able to relocate to Gaithersburg, MD 20879 prior to starting work.
