Teams are comprised of cross-functional engineers working in an AGILE environment (approximately 6-10 people) focused on the design and development of software-only products. Products supported with this role include: CAAS/Flight 2 Flight Management Solutions - Our signature products for Military Avionics and Helicopters as part of the Collins Integrated Avionics Systems fielded on thousands of aircraft today at this moment. Specific capabilities include FMS (Flight Management Systems) Performance Application System Manager Comm Flight Director and Flight Controls. Heres a couple links to more details: FACE (Future Airborne Capability Environment) - Our software as a product used to support not only navigation flight planning and guidance with our MFMS-1000 solution but also hazard avoidance in real time as part of our Avoidance Re-Router (ARR-7000) which are being deployed on a variety of emerging platforms and next generation pursuits. Heres a couple links to more details: Job Responsibilities This job is unique in that it is a project leadership role (Product Owner within AGILE terminology) with our development teams. Expectations include leading a cross-functional team daily and coordinating regularly with engineering and project management to ensure success of the product and program. This includes managing aspects of quality cost schedule and scope while navigating the various team dynamics present. Other responsibilities and job requirements include Demonstrated time management skills - ability to work unsupervised multi-task and coordinate workSucceed while leading in a team environmentExcellent communication (written verbal and interpersonal)Willingness to travel (domestic and international Required Qualifications:This positions requires a Bachelors degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the approriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
