POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
JET ENGINE PROGRAM MANAGER
Tactical Air Support, Inc., a national company operating in more than 15 states across the country, provides domestic and international training and advisory services in tactical aviation, as well as the production, modification, and sustainment/maintenance of high-performance aircraft, and aircraft supply chain sales and support. We are seeking an experienced Jet Engine Program Manager to join our TALON division.
TALON's mission is to stabilize Tactical Air Support's supply chain requirements by maintaining quality selection of F-5 parts and equipment of any commercial supplier worldwide. By operating modern warehouse facilities and leveraging our existing RAMCO Enterprise Resource Planning System, we optimize the repair and management of a wide range of aircraft parts, engines, and ground support equipment to provide our customers with the "on the shelf availability" they need to keep their aircraft flying.
The ideal candidate will report to the General Manager for TALON and be responsible implement TALON's mission. This is a critical position and will serve as the "Engine Boss" to manage TALON's engine overhaul, repair, and salvage program encompassing J85-GE-21, J85-GE-13, and J85-CAN-15 turbojet engines. This program will support the company's current fleet of F-5E/F aircraft operating on U.S. Department of Defense contracts as well as external engine sales to the DoD, foreign militaries, and open market customers.

- Responsible to maintain and safely operate modern warehouse facilities.
- Coordinate and perform duties necessary to complete entire supply chain lifecycle for turbojet engine and aircraft parts program as determined by Tactical Air Support.
- Leverage company's existing supply chain enterprise resource planning system.
- Provide full spectrum parts, J85 engine, and associated ground support equipment internal support and external sales to other F-5 operators worldwide.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read, listen to, and understand information and ideas verbally and in writing.
- Regular travel to various work sites throughout the U.S. and internationally may be required and ability to support detachments as assigned.
- Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance requirements required.
- Possess current valid State Driver License and U.S. Passport.
- This position is subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening (including for marijuana) per DOT/FAA requirements for safety sensitive positions.
- This position may be subject to medical or physical certification requirements.
