ABOUT UNILODE Unilode owns and manages approximately 120000 ULDs for more than 40 airline customers across a global network of 480 airports and 50 repair centers. Our asset management and repair services for ULDs galley carts and ground support equipment are designed to enable our customers to focus on their core business of flying passengers and cargo while delivering significant cost savings and operational benefits to their business. POSITION OVERVIEW Our Inspector ensures that repair operations are conducted in accordance with pertinent FAA regulations Unilodes Quality Manual/Procedures customer air carrier requirements and provides the final airworthiness determination. This is a temp to hire role. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure all articles delivered and maintained by the repair station are properly recorded and staged from receipt to delivery in their airworthy/serviceable condition. Perform and have oversight of inspection activity. Ensure compliance with pertinent FAA regulations manufacturers technical data/approved supplements RSM/QCM and customer requirements. Report all quality related issues to management. Ensure accurate and timely creation of work orders. Conduct preliminary hidden damage in-progress and final inspections/RTS of aircraft articles processed by the repair station (as authorized) and assuring proper recording of results. Perform repairs when necessary. QUALIFICATIONS A License required. 2+ years practical experience in aviation maintenance preferred. Excellent communication skills including written and oral Ability to make quality decisions and effectively solve problems. Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Ability to interface with computers. Ability to read technical publications and drawings. Schedule will be 2nd shift (2:30 PM-10:30 PM) when working on weekdays and Saturdays from 6 AM-6 PM. Apply for This Job
