Missile and Space Systems Maintenance at United States Air Force summary:Missile and Space Systems Maintenance specialists are responsible for servicing and maintaining critical missile and rocket systems to ensure they are fully operational. Their work includes planning organizing and performing necessary services on missile launchers and space lift boosters. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of electronic theory and strict adherence to military enlistment standards.

Responsible for servicing and maintaining them Missile and Space Systems Maintenance specialists ensure these assets are fully operational at all times. From missile launchers to space lift boosters these highly knowledgeable experts plan organize and perform every service necessary to keep these systems in pristine working condition so theyre ready when we need them.REQUIREMENTSYou must meet several requirements before joining the Air Force. These concern your background overall health and other standards set by the Air Force Department of Defense and federal law.Minimum EducationYou must be 17–42 years of age a U.S. citizen and obtain a qualifying ASVAB score.

Applicants who are non-graduates or non-alternate credential holders must obtain an AFQT Test score of 65 or higher on the ASVAB

Completion of a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)

Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
